executor of dad's estate

my dad died without a will. He has asbestos money coming in. My sister made herself executor of his money. There is four of us am I entitled to a forth of this money? I did not sign for her to become executor because she is dishonest. I was not served with any papers nor did they run it in the newspaper. What can I do?

Your sister can't have herself appointed as anything without court approval. Go to the Probate Court and see what papers have been filed. Then, ASAP, consult with a local attorney.

Executors ONLY happen in wills so your post doesn't make sense. If there was no will, the estate had to be administered, and that did not happen without either sheriff's service or a newspaper ad. An adminstrator is appointed only after notice, so you either missed your chance to object or there hjas been no appointment yet. So before anyone can help you you need to get your facts straight. Go to the court, get a copy of the whole file, and see a probate lawyer immediately.
