Employee break requirments

What break structure must be provided to an employee during a shift period in the State of Georgia.

Re: Employee break requirments

Generally none. If, however, you are in a Union with a Collective Bargaining Agreement or if you have a contract that allows for breaks, you may be entitled to them. Also, your company may have a policy for breaks, which could give you additional rights. I am not aware of any federal or Georgia law that requires breaks.
