Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

Renting a condo , came with a heavy ceiling lamp what crashed on my 28yrs old sons head! He got injured on his head and his right arm. The hook where the lamp was hanging broke! Who is liable for the hospital bills? How should I proceed? I live in Miami Beach, FL

That depends on why it fell, and consequently who might have been negligent, was it something that your son should have noticed or checked, how long he was in the condo, how old the lamp is, was it being moved when it broke, etc., none of which is discussed in your post (and you might not know). If it happened in Florida, you need to re-post to Florida lawyers, not Georgia. Things fall, and accidents happen. That does not always mean someone else should pay for it.

You say you live in Florida but you posted in an area for Georgia lawyers, not Florida ones. That means no Florida lawyers will see your post, and that is where you need to be posting.

Not clear from your post whether this happened in Florida or Georgia? If your son was not at fault, then he may very well have a claim against the owners of the condo or the manufacturer of the lamp. There are not enough facts in your post to give any definite advice. You should be aware that Georgia has a two-year time limit for filing suit and Florida has a four-year time limit for filing suit.
