Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Builder alters floor plan without my consent

This is my second time asking but have given alot more detail. I am in a contract with a builder to purchase a home. The builder has altered the floor plan of the house by running ductwork to the basement of a finished room without my consent. I knew of the room being finished but was not told anything about a/c or ductwork having to run through my master closet and them having to cut through the sub-flooring to do this. The builder agreed with me saying that he had forgotten to tell me about that part. All paperwork was signed on where cable, phone, outlets, light switches, etc. would be run, but nothing was said about a/c work. After speaking to the builder he refuses to do anything about my delima. I am assuming that I cannot do anything about this other then except the work as is. Is it illegal to post a sign or print up a flyer saying: Before you buy a home from such and such builder, please contact me and I will tell you about my experience.

Re: Builder alters floor plan without my consent

I just answered your previous post in which you did not mention the ductwork apparently taking up part of your master closet. That may change things from my previous answer. However, I still can't off you much help without reviewing your contract and finding out more facts about the situation. I renew my offer of discussing this matter if you want to call me.
