Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

house listed with agent

I listed my house with a realtor,my house was broken in and furniture stolen. They got the furniture out my side door which had a dead bolt which you can't open from inside without a key. To me and the officer that took the report said the door was left unlocked by someone that showed the house, since I left my house in the hands of realtor, do they have any libility towards what happened.

You certainly may have a case against the realtor for negligence. However, since you stated that your question relates to GA law, I am assuming that the property (and, therefore, the realtor) is/are in GA. That is where you will have to take action. Consult with an attorney in the county where the property is located.
