Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Deceased Siblings Rights to Mothers Property

My grandmother passed in June of 2008. She has property in Atlanta and Doraville worth 1.5 mil. She had 7 children, my uncle died in 1970 and my mother in 2006. The living siblings do not want to share the money because our parents died before my grandmother. Can we do anything?

You didn't say whether she left a Will or not, but, in any case, all of you may have certain rights. Whether each of you wants to pursue those is a personal matter. Consult with a local attorney. If you would like to discuss, feel free to give me a call.
