Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Revocable Trust

I had a revocable trust created in California but have moved to Georgia. Is it valid in Georgia, or do I need to see an attorney if I would like to make an amendments?

Re: Revocable Trust

It probably is valid in GA. However, you should have it reviewed by a GA attorney to make sure that it meets your needs and desires. Also, you might be well advised to have it reviewed by a local CPA if it was prepared long enough ago that tax changes may dictate changing some of the terms.
