Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Sell inhereted real property

My mother-in-law died and left her real property to her 4 children. The will does not state that they can sell this property. Is there a way they can sell the property? What should we do?

When property is left to people, they can do whatever they want with it, including selling it.

Re: Sell inhereted real property

If they own the property jointly, they would have to agree to sell the property. Often, one owner will buy out the other owners and retain the property.
