Legal Question in Technology Law in Hawaii

Ex-Employer Harrassing/Defamation

It came to my attention that my former employer is trying to ''have me arrested'' because I turned off my computer when I left and the password won't let him in. I don't remember it and instead of just reloading the computer he is having his assistant make threatening phone calls to me and sending me e-mails saying I am going to jail tonight on 6 counts of criminal tresspass, etc. Is there anything I can do to stop this.

Re: Ex-Employer Harrassing/Defamation

First of all, clearly there's more to it than that.

Second, this is a work-related matter and your dispute with your boss can't possibility be about the computer, whether or not you meant to switch it off or not, because all you had to do was either go in and log back on,--or give him the password (which the systems admin should have anyway).

In any event, you need to go to a higher manager and ask for ssistance to get this personal relationship problem sorted out so the both of you can do your jobs.
