benificiary rights

my uncle has been trustee of my father's estate & feels he isn't answerable to anyone therefore whether we agree w/his intentions or actions he does so & has kept us in the dark about all aspects of the estate. what can we do?

A trustee of a trust has a number of obligations under California Probate code. First of all, he is holding the property of the trust for the benefit of the beneficiaries. His powers are limited by the terms of the trust. He is required to be open about the terms of the trust, and to provide you with a copy.
