benificiary rights

my uncle has been trustee of my father's estate & feels he isn't answerable to anyone therefore whether we agree w/his intentions or actions he does so & has kept us in the dark about all aspects of the estate. what can we do?

if he hasnt given you a copy of the trust go to court and they will make him give you a copy. if you find he has done anything outside his authority you can go to court and have him removed as trustee.

In addition to the trust document, he is required once requested to give you an annual report of the trust.

You have the right to seek an accounting for the trust estate, and in the event that the Trustee has misused his powers, or has entered into transactions that amount to "self dealing" or otherwise not acted in the best interest of the trust, as established, or otherwise exceeded his powers, you can remove the trustee and seek the court's assistance in having a replacement trustee appointed................
