Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Illinois

can a bouncer at a bar/club have a taser? the reason being is there were words back and forth with 2 men and about 4-5 bouncers came by grabbed on of the guys by the neck because he was going towards another bouncer and they tasered him about 3-4 times while he was in a headlock pinned up.
