Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

How do I do this without an attorney's representation?

My ex-husband and I have joint custody of my 10 year old daughter. He lives in Florida. I live in Illinois. The state of Illionos has jurisdiction over my daughter. Last year, my daughter went to Florida to live with her dad. He tried to deny me summer vacation, but I filed a petition to enforce visitation, and my daughter came to Illinois on July 21st. Since then, my ex-husband has informed me that he wants her to live with me again in Illinois. Up until last year, she had been living with me here. It is very evident that he does not want her there full time and that she causes problems between him and his new wife. Now he says that he wants her to visit for Christmas. The court order and joint parenting agreement states that she resides in Florida. What can I do to make her residence with me again. I am worried that if she goes to Florida for vacation, he will try to keep her. I can not afford an attorney. I just do not want him to be able to change his mind about wanting her and not wanting her when he feels it is comfortable for him.

Hello. In my opinion, you should file a motion with the court requesting that the terms of the joint custody agreement be amended to read that the minor child shall live with the mother in Illinois.
