Divorce proceedings

The respondent to a divorce petitioner cannot afford a lawyer. The divorce went through, the respondent was ordered to pay more money than he earns monthly on social security and pension benefits. The respondent is retired and 77 years old.

The petitioner earns more money and is not retired. What can the petitioner legally do?

It depends on how long ago this judgment was entered, and whether it was a default judgment.
