garnishment

I was order by the courts to have my wages garnished for medical bills. i am in the middle of a divorce and the bills are to be split. how do i stop garnishments until the divorce

Well, something you may not have considered is filing bankruptcy. That will discharge all of the unsecured credit cards, medical bills, loans and such.
