my rights as a father

i have a daughter i have never seen but pay child support for how do i go about signing off my rights to her

Just to add to what Mr. Steele says, because you cannot just sign off your rights to her, there needs to be an adoptive parent waiting to do so, if you WANT to see your child, you need to go to court and enforce your visitation rights. You are entitled to visitation, but you have to make the effort to have visitation. This, however has nothing to do with your child support obligation. Child support exists because it is in the best interests of the child to have support from both parents. It is not in the child's best interests for a parent to be able to no longer have parental rights solely so they don't have to help support the child financially.

You don't. I am not sure why so many non custodial parents miss the whole point on child support. Its not for you. Child support is for the child. Whether you see her is irrelevant, she still likes to eat food (that costs money).

If every parent who was paying support only had to sign some magic paper that would let them get off of paying support, the number of people paying support would drop overnight by 98%.
