Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

This is about the Confidentiality & Non-compete Agreement, which I signed, and two week later, I got fired from a insurance agent. This agent suggest me to take the State of Illinois Producers License in Property and Casualty classes and State exam within 60 days of employment. I toke his suggest, and I passed the class test, but before I take the State exam he fire me. And the contract he had me sing that prevents me to find another job in the same field for next two years by worked for him for only ten days. And all afford and expenses that I input into this job only reduce my employment changes to look for another job. That is not a fairness contract. I am not selling anything yet because I don't have license yet. My job for those two weeks mainly is the front desk job. Is there any way that I can cancel that agreement? Any legal document or any law that protect the employee's right?

It would depend on the terms of the agreement. Also, if the employer had you sign this after you were already employed, and did not provide any consideration, the contract may not be enforceable.
