Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Illinois

During a recent internal audit we found that our insurance provider has been charging us for 2 locations. One location is our actual store the other is a storage unit we had for about a year. We have not had the storage unit for 3 years now but have been paying for insurance on the unit(did not realize this). I asked for a credit they said no. Am I intitled to a partial refund? What do I need to do now. Im guessing total amount i overpaid is about $3000.

This question should be posted under insurance law.

If you feel you have been overcharged I would hire an attorney to write a "demand letter" on your behalf. Most attorney write and respond to a letter for a small flat fee.

If the letter does not suffice, because of the small amount of money involved, file in "small claims".
