Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
I hit a curb at 3am. My car was not drivable anymore. Parked it in a car dealership completely off the road, left my name, phone number, and a note saying I will be back in a few hours to get it towed. Cops towed my car, called me into the station the next day and ticketed me for leaving the scene of an accident and not notifying the police. Can I beat this?
