Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

persinal injury suit

I have a case against the City of Chicago, Date of accident 11/8/05, I have already had my deposition, now my attorney filed a motion to transfer my case from Law Division to 1st Municipal. He said that's because it'll go faster. What is the real reason or is true????

There is no way to accurately answer your question. There are many reasons why a case may be transferred to 1st Municipal. Without seeing your file and knowing all the circumstances there is simply no way of knowing why.
