Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

School Negligence Injury

I was injured at school due to their negligence. How long do I have to file a claim against them? How can I find a lawyer in my area that is inexpensive to deal with this?

Any and all help would be appreciated greatly.

Re: School Negligence Injury

I can't answer your question as to time frames without more information- were you an employee of the school? How did you get hurt, and were others involved? Was it a defect in the property, a piece of machinery, or some other mechanism that injured you?

As for finding an inexpensive attorney, rates are usually fairly comparable, and I, along with many injury attorneys, charge a fee contingent on recovery. If we are not successful for you, you never pay a fee, and if we get money for you, our fee is a percentage of that recovery.

I am happy to consult with you with out cost or obligation. You may call me at 314.621.6519. We can then decide if our firm is able to assist you, or I can suggest someone who would be more appropriate.

Thank you.

You may wish to contact an attorney directly and describe the situation in detail. The attorney should then be able to answer whether you can still bring a claim. If you would like, you may contact my office for a free consultation.
