Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Can a Court Attach My Property

My sister owned me money and could not afford to pay on her house so she quit claimed it to me. Her ex husband brought her to court when she went into foreclosure on another house on which he had signed on the mortgage. The judge ruled that he could attach the house that was quit claimed to me. Is that legal when she doesn't own it any more?
