Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Contesting a will

My mother died in 1998, father in 2006. My brother shows me a will from 1987. I do think there is another one out there because I had their grandchildren in 1991,&1993 and I don't think they wouldn't have remembered them, only my brother. How do I find out?

There is no magic answer here other than to say look (and ask) around. If you know who your father used as an attorney that would be a good place to start. Check safe deposit boxes, home safes, file cabinets, back of the freezer...etc.

Also, read the Will carefully, sometimes they provide for class gifts which include after-born descendants.
