Legal Question in Workers Comp in Illinois

I'm a student at an Illinois University who writes lots of papers. I was working in our campus' library, but had to leave due to tendinitis. My work at the library was very repetitive. This might not have been the main cause, though, as I am often in front of a computer. Is there a way to collect unemployment or worker's comp.? It was a part-time job through work study, though I think my work study hours had depleted by this point and I was being paid from the University itself.

Filing a workers compensation claim will cost you nothing and can result in a resolution of the matter. You should not expect to get relief from the school's personnel office. Find a reputable workers compensation attorney through your local bar assoication and when you make the appointment, give the attorney my regards.
