Legal Question in Technology Law in India

Hello,

I wrote a review about a service I received in India in mouthshut.com. It the real experience I had gone through with them. i did not write any bad word or something but mentioned the designations like "CEO" and word like crooked, rude etc. in my review. Now the service provider is telling that they will file a 'defamation' law suite against me if I didn't remove my review. I am in Canada now and not sure what can be done if they file the law suite. Am I doing something wrong here, do I need to edit my review or completely remove it?

Thanks,

Dear Sir / Madam,

As appears from your query, I personally do not perceive anything offensive commented by you against the CEO of www.mouthshut.com

In my view, it is better to respond and defend the case when you receive the notice, rather than preempt any action in advance.

Please mail me the link of your post at [email protected]

If you have used word 'crooked' then; they may have a case. If you do not desire to fight you should modify the review; and if you are not desirous of modifying - you may remove it; in the alternative you should be ready to fight.
