I wanted to know about the electricity act, as I live in village and from last one year constantly trying to get proper electricity connection from the government but nothing happened so forcefully I have to use my own electricity cable to get temporary connection (which is consider as an illegal connection) from the main electricity as no one can live in dark consistently. I wanted to know that is still I am doing any offence even after lodging a complaint from my self, as this is the deficiency of government's procedure by not doing their job which they suppose to. After lodging complaint that I want a proper electricity of which I can pay electricity bill, I have got a letter that I am doing serious crime, I would like to know that where I am guilty in this matter? Please advice me and let me know that what is in my favour and what should I do to defend my self.

you may apply for a new connection and this problem of lack of legal connections can be taken up with the state government.
