Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in

I was holding a Credit Card from HSBC in 2005. Even though I have been paying them regularly, after I changed my location, I could not pay. Recently, that is in Feb'10, I received a call from their legal team asking me to pay up Rs.73000 and close this account (My purchase using this card will be less than this). I duly did, but I am still waiting for a NOC from HSBC. They are not responding to my queries and are telling me that my oustanding is Rs.180000. What do you suggest I should do.
