False FIR

False FIR was u/s 509 IPC was made in year 2001 but accused was acquitted in year 2006 and MM DELHI gave judgement that prosecution has failled to prove therefore defence is not needed . After acquitel complaints were made to police , delhi governmant etc to take action against persons who filed false FIR but for two years till JULY2008 police gave repeated written reply yhat case is pending . However now police has agreed that case was decided in 2001 and false replies were due to staff mistake, this has not only caused further harassmant but also loss of time .

what is a legel remedy . I NEED GOOD LAWYER WHO CAN CHARGE REASONABLE FEES AS I SUFFERED LOSSES DUE TO FALSE FIR ,DEFAMATION etc

you can file damages for harassment and for losses of money, mental peace, etc.

you can file for defamation also.

was there any appeal filed against the judgment of M.M. if not, then the accused against whom the false case was filed, is within his rights to claim damages and compensation for malicious prosecution and can also file the private complaint u/s 200 of crpc.

Where the case is not proved on the part of prosecution, decided on merits, and accused is acquitted, Court may award damages under section 250(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898. Offence under section 182 IPC is also made out against complainant.

You may also file civil suit of malicious prosecution claiming damages. But keep in mind that your success in claiming damages is subject to finalization of the case against you such as appeal in higher court.
