Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

Dear Sir: One Multinational Co. which is under provisional liquidation has issued us fake TDS certificates for which we lodged FIR against the Co. Police is not taking any action due to certain vested interest. What would be correct forum to complaint?

file 156(3) cr pc before the magistrate seeking directions to sho for registration of fir or file a private complaint before the magistrate

You can approah the High Court and file a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the police to register the case and take up investigation.

as suggested above, a criminal complaint in this regard can be made u/s 200 of crpc and with that an application u/s 156(3) may be filed for registration of f.i.r. and the court would demand the status report from the police.
