Patent registration
We want to apply for patent registration of name of our insititue i.e. PRAVARA this is the name of river in our area in ahmednagar district in maharaashtra state in india.
We run over 30 instititue on name PRAVARA and this name is having huge market potential for us. and we think that another company /college could make profits from using our name , hence we need protection from a patent.
IS it possible to patent the name?

name is not patented. it is trade mark. it depends on variou factors so consult personally
