The cancellation of a legally enforceable agreement usually entail damages. If you want to walk out of your commitment without any basis, you should be ready to suffer damages for breach of contract.

"Agree" for what ? performance of the contract or cancellation of the contract.

If other party does not agree for performance, that party will suffer damages for breach of contract. And if you want to cancell the contract without consent of other party, you will need to suffer damages for breach of contract.

Cancellation is a mutual or bilateral act.

Termination or revocation can be unilateral act.
