Inestate

My father died inestate. He did not have any demat account but has physical share certificates. How to ensure that my mother gets them in her name. She has a demat account.

Re: Inestate

You may need a "Letter of Administraion" from the Administrator concerned of your area. Based on this "Letter", you may apply to the company for transfer of shares in your mother's name. You may also be require to complete some other papers / documents like idemnity bond that may be required by the company.
