Collection Agency and Employer

Can a collection Agency send you a letter stating how much you owe and your account number.Addressed to you in c/o your Employer,at your Corporate Employers address?And can the employer open and read this letter addressed to you in C/O the Company?

I know of no cases where the collector has gotten in trouble for what you did. The business ought not have opened what was your mail. Still, it is an odd one and there some details that you seem to have omitted in your e-mail. I suggest finding an attorney for does Fair Debt Collection Practices Act work so that all the detail can be examined.
