Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Indiana

I was paid last week with a united states postal money order . i casahed it at a local pawn shop. now two weeks later he calls me stating that his bank says that it was conterfit. what are my legal bounds for this, and can i be held responsible.

Yes you are responsible. You have recourse against whomever gave it to you.
