partial credit card payment

What happens if three credit cards have made my interest much higher so that now I am unable to pay, I tended to be 3 days late which happened 3 times, so now the interest rates are so high i cant' pay the minimum each month. Also they are adding on late fees. If I pay a lesser amount to each card to show that I am trying, will they work with me?

It is highly doubtful that the credit card companies will work with you. But you need to call them to find out. You should also look around for a lawyer who is familiar with the federal FAir Credit Reporting Act/
