Legal Question in Criminal Law in Indiana

tapped a bumper at a stoplite my son was driveing because i dont drive im a habitual traffic offender i got out to talk with other driver .worrying because son un-liscensed he took off . later that week i get arrested for leaveing scene off accident even thou son was driveing i have 2 witnesses other driver has no witness but still claims i was driver what options do i have i was charged with felony leaveing scnene i am faceing jail time
