Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My wife hasn't worked in years, I have supported the household the entire time. I also put her through nursing school and she recently got her RN license. She wants to go back to school to get a bachelors of Nursing degree. We are close to divorse and she's telling me that I will have to support her for the next three years while she gets her next degree. Is earning potential considered in a case like this. What will my financial responsibility be?
