house contract

im the owner of the home but the buyer just informed me that he wanted out, when i went out to the property all the appliences were missing or broken and the outside of the home had been hit by a big truck. i know have to buy new appliences and fix the outside of the property before i can resell the home. my attorney informed me that it would not be worth going after this guy for damages, and or appliences

Although it is not stated, I am guessing that you are asking for another opinion. You have to balance the expense in attorneys fees against the potential for recovery. You not only have to get a judgment, but you also have to be able to collect it.

You should obtain information on the truck. Perhaps you can get a recovery from the insurer. Also, if you had insurance on the house, you may be able to make a claim for the damages from the truck.
