Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana

Is lifetime ban from a nightclub legal????

This may seem a silly question, but it is of some importance to me. Can a person be legally banned from a nightclub establishment even though they've done nothing to warrant such action??? Simply because the owner, who they know personally, does not like them???? Any help would be appreciated.

http://www.in.gov/atc/ Check this link for the Indiana ATC. They control licensing. I assume your statement that you have done nothing to deserve a lifetime ban from these premises is completely true. I don't know that there is a regulation forbidding personal discrimination, but it seems that since they have a public license, then they must serve the public. If you can fit the discrimination into a protected category - race, religion, nationality, ethnicity - then the EEOC can help. Why not try a little humility (intentional, so it's not humiliation) and ask the owner what you must do to be restored to full citizenship. Good luck.
