Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

returned check for payment of home

I am selling a home in Indiana and the buyer sent a check and he ended up with nsf in his account. Is there anything legal that I can do to legally make him pay for all the nsf I am getting in my account, and can I consider the home he is buying in default

Re: returned check for payment of home

Yes and maybe, depending on your contract and other factors. In fact there are provisions for penalties for NSF. You should be bale ot recover your expenses and more.
