Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I am thinking of perchasing a property off my unkle who is in prison. I had the abstract read and found a lean I am willing to asume but the company who holds the lean will give me no info on this lean becouse its not mine. If I buy this property wont they have to give me the info.

Have your uncle sign a release authorizing you to obtain the information. BTW, how do you know you are willing to buy the land subject to the lien if you don't know how much the lien is?
