Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

My neighbors claim they own the land up to my home, I have a survey done years ago that says I own up to there home, the online site for my county assessor has a map that says I also own up to there home according to there records. Do I have the right to go ahead and rebuild my existing fence on the correct property lines, and have them remove the swing set and set of stairs they have built on my property to avoid any further complications, we have been in arguments where they have threatend violence on me, and law enforcement has been called out. I want to know what my rights are, and how to go about doing this. Do I need to get a certified letter stating they have x amount of days to remove the property?

Before taking major steps, I would have another survery done just to be sure. I would also contact a local attorney as there are a number of questions that need to be asked concerning the length of time that the swing set, stairs and whatever other items there are have been on your property.
