Wrong lot # on mortgage

Our loan is through SPS Servicing. We found out today that the lot #on the loan is NOT the lot our house is on. That lot has a garage on it. We owe around 40 k and have had NOTHING but problems with SPS. What happens with this situation. Thanks Mike Russ

Nothing happens. SPS has a loan secured by a mortgage on the garage instead oif your home. If they should ever foreclose, it will be on the garage not the house.
