Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My father recently passed away. since the death of my grandparents he's told me that the farm goes to me & my children. his wife told me that he gave her survivors rights. this isn't what he told me & she hasn't given me a copy of the will like i've asked. what are my options?

If an estate has been opened, the will is available that way. If not, then go to the county recorder to get a copy of the deed. Then, take it to an attorney and discuss your options. If you have any legal interest in the farm, one of those two documents will have to provide it...your father's statements alone will not be good enough.

Good luck.
