my aunt died in2001 and had a will but it was never sent to probate found out now that they say the will is no good is this true

In Indiana a will must he probated within three years of the date of death, or it is invalid. So the probate estate, if there is one, passes by the laws of intestate succession. http://www.in.gov/legislative/ic/code/title29/ar1/ch2.html
