Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Iowa

Hi, i sold my car 3 months ago and the buyer still owes 600 hundred evrery time i called for my money they always have some kind of reasons. and now she is having medical problem and can't pay. I have the promisary note and text messages for evidence. what can i do now. thanks

Sue them in small claims court is your remedy, unless you have some sort of written agreement. This is the down side of being your own finance company. Perhaps an angry letter from your attorney might help.
