Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Iowa

Medical Advice

I haven't been diagnosed with ADHD, my psychiatrists and psychologist all in the past have diagnosed me with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. He said why are you depressed, what do you have to be depressed about? I have had a hard life, I basically spilled my feelings and life history to the nurse. I paused. He stated, ''Are you depressed because you're not happy the clothes you're wearing today?'' He chuckled. Then said, ''Or are you depressed because you didn't get enough food in your tummy?'' Then chuckled again. I didn't think any of this was funny at all, I started crying. I left the room, and my mother finished speaking with him. I do not believe this is right for him to speak to me like this, knowing my life history, and having depression, anxiety, and so many other problems that I have been dealing with and diagnosed with by other Doctors. Any ideas on what to do with this type of treatment from a Doctor? Thank you!
