I've been working for my current employer for 7 months.Shortly after starting sexual questions were repeatedly asked of me.continuously,in a supposedly joking matter. is this legal?

I would say it's legal until you register that it's not welcomed. So tell him to stop. If it continues put it in writing. Then go to management with your complaint that it is not welcomed.
