Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Kansas

I'm looking for information on how to find a lawsuit for medical malpractice in

My husband and his x wife filed a lawsuit for medical malpractice in Kansas, against Shawnee Mission Medical Center. When my husbands and his x divorced, he let her handel the lawsuit. We never heard anything about it until 1995 or some where around that year. A lawyer called us in Michigan and said his (my husbands) sons funds were being mishandled and they wanted to appoint a conservator, and that they needed my husbands signature. Anyway, alot has happened and we lost the papers. Now his x-wife is harassing us and saying we have got to give the $843,000.00 back to her. I have got all the e-mails of her harassment. I had at one time located the dockets and was suppose to send some information back to the clerk at the court in Kansas and she was going to send me the full lawsuit. That was about 4 years ago. We lost those papers. Now, how do I go about finding the court dockets for his sons case or finding out how much the award was? Any information is helpful. Thank You to anyone who can help us ( Their is alot more to this then I can type here without boaring everyone to death)

All the court papers are available in the courts in which the case or cases are pending. It would be handy to hire a paralegal to get copies of what you need from the local courts. It sounds like you may have some problems brewing. William S. Stern 248-353-9400
