If you do a divorce yourself and the other party does not sigh the papers even though they are filed and paid for will the judge grant the divorce anyways or do i need an attorney to refile.

If the petition was filed properly with the clerk and the summons was served upon the other party properly, then the judge can grant the divorce even though the petition was never answered.
